Prize Drawings at NEAR-Fest
Prize drawings are part of the fun at NEAR-Fest! Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and vendors, we’re able to give away a variety of items during the event. If you’re at NEAR-Fest, you’re already entered.
How to Enter
Your valid NEAR-Fest admission ticket is your entry into our prize drawings. There is no separate raffle ticket to purchase — just hold onto your admission ticket.
How Winners Are Announced
Winning numbers are announced on the grounds during the event through multiple channels:
- NEAR-Fest low-power FM broadcast — 95.1 FM
- Talk-in repeater — 444.200+ PL 186.2 (Mt. Uncanoonuc, N1PA)
- The information building — winning numbers are posted for reference
New for October 2026: we’re debuting MeshCore notifications for prize drawings, in addition to our existing announcement channels. If you’re on the mesh, you’ll get the notification too.
How to Claim Your Prize
Winners can pick up their prizes at the information building on the grounds. Bring your winning ticket stub and a photo ID.
Full Terms & Eligibility
Complete prize eligibility and terms — who’s eligible, what happens if you can’t be reached, and how ties are resolved — are managed by our ticketing system and take precedence over anything summarized here.
